Picturesque pub right on the canalside within easy walking distance of Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead / Apsley. The food menu is pretty good and you MUST try their cheesy chips or their Parmesan Truffle chips which are to die for!

If you can, grab a table outside by the canal and watch the ducks, swans, and canalboats glide by - and keep an eye open for the swing bridge opening to let the canalboats through.
