Kilchrenan Inn in Kilchrenan

Close to Loch Awe, deep in rural Argyll and Bute, the Kilchrenan Inn is only a short drive from Oban and is surrounded by some of the best walking that Scotland has to offer. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, closed weekday lunchtimes. Worth giving them a call to check food times and opening times before you visit. Great wine list and, unusually, they provide some really helpful wine notes if you'd like to try something a bit different but aren't sure which way to go. Food wise, you absolutely have to try their langoustines with garlic mayo and fries if they have them on the menu. Bit pricey but quality is spot-on!
